FSA + HSA
FAQS

Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a pre-tax benefit account that allows individuals to use funds for eligible health-related expenses.

These accounts are typically provided through an employer or health insurance plan and may allow reimbursement for services that support physical health, stress reduction, pain relief, or recovery depending on the specific plan rules.

Q: Do you accept insurance or direct HSA/FSA cards?

A: We do not accept insurance or HSA/FSA cards directly. All services are paid via standard credit/debit card at the time of booking.

Q: How do I get reimbursed using my HSA/FSA?

A: Upon request, we provide a Superbill (an itemized paid receipt loaded with standard medical CPT billing codes). You submit this directly to your provider or HR department for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Q: Am I guaranteed to get my full amount back?

A: Reimbursement is determined solely by your individual plan rules, typically ranging from 30% to 80% of your costs. We highly recommend confirming your specific out-of-network benefits with your provider beforehand, as approval is never guaranteed.

Holistic Touch by Nazra cannot be held responsible for improper use of your specific FSA/HSA plans.

Q: Do I need a doctor’s note (Letter of Medical Necessity)?

A: Some plans require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from a licensed healthcare provider (like a doctor or chiropractor) linking your sessions to a health need like pain relief or stress reduction. If you need an LMN quickly, some of our clients prefer to use Truemed.com to expedite the process.

Q: Are there certain billing codes you use that I may be able to ask my provider about?

A:  For a list of billing codes, we provide that you'd like to submit to your doctor and/or provider, please email us.

Q: Is this a replacement for medical care?

A: No. The therapeutic bodywork, somatic support, and yoga services provided here are complementary healing modalities, not a substitute for licensed medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
